20 Aug Local Crime Update 15/08/2021
Dear Residents
Please find below the crime record for the period from 1st August to 15th August 2021.
Unfortunately we’ve had two burglaries over the last fortnight.
Re the Cumberland Road burglary – the back door had been left open to allow the victim’s dog access to the garden. The victim had a locked side gate so thought that his home was secure but suspect(s) were still able to force it open. Shows how important it is to lock all doors and close all windows to minimise chances of a break in.
Overall the crime rate is very low.
Now that we’re all able to go out and about more now might be a good time to think about home security. If anyone would like any advice, please feel free to get in touch as shown below.
Stay safe and remain vigilant
Kind Regards
Adam
