06 Jul Further resurfacing roadworks around Shortlands Station 12-13 July
Riney will be closing the A222 outside Shortlands Station (Bromley Road, Beckenham / Beckenham Lane, Bromley) for one night for carriageway resurfacing works on Wednesday 12/07. The road will be closed from 20:00 on Wednesday 12/07 and will re-open by 05:00 on Thursday 13/07. The road will be closed either side of the railway bridge, including the junction of Shortlands Road/Bromley Road and also the junction of Ravensbourne Avenue/Station Road/Beckenham Lane.
Traffic will be diverted via Scotts Lane, Hayes Lane, Westmoreland Road , Masons Hill, Kentish Way, Tweedy Road and London Road in both directions. There will be no exit from Shortlands Road onto Bromley Road during the works. There will be no exit from Ravensbourne Avenue or Station Road onto Beckenham Lane during the works. Vehicular access to Shortlands Rail station will only be available via Shortlands Road during the closure period.
Pedestrian access through the works will be maintained at all times.
