Riney have advised they need to install some traffic management at Station Road, Shortlands from Wednesday 19/07 for up to three days. There will be a directional road closure in place, affecting traffic on Station Road travelling towards Beckenham Lane / Ravensbourne Avenue. Traffic will be diverted via Martins Road, Recreation Road and Beckenham Lane. Traffic exiting Beckenham Lane / Ravensbourne Avenue turning into Station Road will be unaffected and able to travel towards Glassmill Lane during this phase of the works as normal. The directional closure avoids the use of five way temporary phased signals as any temporary signals here would need to be phased with the Shortlands Road/Bromley Road junction.
