Thames Water will be closing Beckenham Lane, Bromley from Monday 19th October 2026 for up to five days whilst they install a new water supply to a property.
The road will be closed outside 87 Beckenham Lane, which falls in between the junctions of Meadow Road and Ravensbourne Avenue in Shortlands Village. Local signed diversions will be in place for motorists during the works. The diversion route will divert traffic along like for like A roads, however other routes around the closure may be busier during the closure period too, as motorists find alternative shorter routes.
Some bus services will also be affected e.g. 227 and 358.
The works have been scheduled during the October school half term to minimise disruption to local schools.
