13 Sep Consultation on the draft Air Quality Action Plan – open until midnight on 18 October 2026
The London Borough of Bromley is undertaking its consultation on the draft Air Quality Action Plan (AQAP) 2027-2031 and would welcome your comments on the proposed plan.
The draft AQAP sets out the actions Bromley Council proposes to take over the next five years to reduce emissions, protect public health and further improve air quality across the borough. The plan has been developed in accordance with the London Local Air Quality Management framework and builds upon the measures delivered through our current AQAP.
The draft Air Quality Action Plan 2027-2031 consultation is available on our website here: Consultations – London Borough of Bromley.
The consultation is open until midnight on 18th October 2026.
We would be grateful if you could review the draft AQAP and provide any comments through the online survey. If you wish to provide more detailed feedback, written responses may also be submitted by email to aqap@bromley.gov.uk.
We are particularly interested in views on:
- The key air quality issues facing Bromley;
- The proposed priorities and actions within the draft AQAP;
- Whether the proposed measures are appropriate and achievable;
- Bromley’s ambition to continue improving air quality and work towards the World Health Organization (WHO) air quality guideline levels.
Following the consultation, all responses will be reviewed and considered before the AQAP is finalised and submitted to the Greater London Authority for approval.
Should you have any questions regarding the consultation, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Yours faithfully,
