17 Apr From DWO PCSO Adam Charles 15/04/2020
Dear Residents
Please see below the crime record for the period from 1st April to 15th April.
The lockdown has seen a considerable drop in crime hence only two offences.
Re the barbecue theft in Newbury Road. Due to current circumstances people are spending a lot more time in their gardens at the moment so it’s probably a good idea to be careful with any expensive items used in gardens and trying to put them securely in your home or garage when not being used.
Good to see some of you about and chat while I’m out patrolling. Although home visits are not allowed at the moment please feel free to call or email.
If you do want to see us in person we can stand on the pavement while you stand on the driveway although for more sensitive issues this wouldn’t be advisable.
Other than that stay safe and remain vigilant. Very pleased to see people taking appropriate precautions.
Thank you as always for your help and support.
Kind regards
Adam
