02 Jun Latest Crime Update 31/05/2025
Dear Residents
Please find below the crime record for the period from 16 May to 31 May 2025.
Unfortunately, we’ve seen a bit of an increase in theft of motor vehicle offences but generally speaking crime remains low. Very pleased that in the early hours of this morning (Sunday 01/06/25) a resident of Farnaby Road noticed a male walking along the road trying car door handles. She called 999. As a result, officers attended leading to the arrest of the male. An excellent example of looking out for your neighbours and taking the appropriate action.
Now we’re enjoying warmer weather, a quick reminder to double check all windows are closed before leaving your home or vehicle.
On the community engagement side we’ll be hosting a Cuppa With A Copper session at Costa Coffee, Westmoreland Road on Friday 06/06/25 4pm to 5pm. Hope to see some of you there.
Thanks as always for your help & support.
Kind Regards
Adam
