03 Mar Latest Ward Crimes 17 – 28 February 2026
Dear Residents,
Please find below the crime record for period from 17th to 28th February.
Overall, not too much to report and very pleasing to see no burglaries.
Sadly, two teenagers were robbed yesterday on Queensmead Recreation Ground by four other teenagers; fortunately, they flagged down a passer-by who called 999. All four suspects were arrested. Pleasing to see that there are good people out there willing to help victims of crime.
On the community engagement side, we’ll be holding three “Cuppa With a Copper” sessions at Costa Coffee, Westmoreland Road. Dates & times as follows-:
- Friday 13/03/26 4pm-5pm
- Thursday 19/03/26 10am to 11am
- Thursday 26/03/26 4pm to 5pm
I’m also hoping to attend the community café at St Mary’s Church on Wednesday 18/03/26.
Hope to see some of you at these events.
Kind Regards,
Adam Charles
