Local crime update 31/01/2021

Dear Residents,

Please find below the crime record for the period from 16 Jan to 31 Jan 2021.

Very sad to see someone was tricked into handing over their bank card and giving their PIN number resulting in money being stolen.  Remember your bank would never phone and ask for your pin number or send a courier to collect a card that is no longer valid.

Good to see that the burglary rate remains low.

I was able to distribute about half a dozen Smartwater property marking kits to residents yesterday which always proves a good deterrent to burglars.

I’ve enjoyed chatting with many of you when seeing you out on your daily walks and am very pleased to see social distancing being maintained.

See some of you on Zoom tomorrow.

Thanks as always for your help & support.

Kind Regards
