05 Feb Local Crime Update 31/01/2024
Dear Residents
Please find below the crime record for the period from 16th January to 31st January. Nothing unusual to note. Sadly one of the burglaries and two of the theft from motor vehicle offences show the importance of double locking your front door when you go out and why you should never leave items that are/look valuable in your car overnight. See list of crimes below for more details.
Unfortunately due to abstractions we’ve not been able to do as much engagement as we’d like in the last fortnight. I did manage to attend outside Highfield School on 1st February where I had some very enjoyable chats with pupils and parents. Next Wednesday 07/02/24 we hope to attend the community café at St Mary’s Church. Our next “cuppa with a copper” session at Costa Coffee, Westmoreland Road will be on Thursday 08/02/24 from 10am to 11am. We’ve also got our next Ward panel meeting on Tuesday 20/02/24 at 7.30pm in the Friends Room, St Mary’s Church, Kingswood Road. There’ll be a drop in surgery at Shortlands Library on Saturday 24/02/24 from 10am to 11am. Look forward to seeing some of you at these events.
Thanks very much for your help and support. Stay safe.
Adam
