Local Crime Update 31/07/2021

Dear Residents

Please find below the crime record for the period from 16 July to 31st July 2021.

Very pleasing to see how little crime there’s been over the last two weeks.  Disappointing to see what appears to be drunken vandalism rearing its head now restrictions have been lifted.  It is also concerning that criminals are starting to get wise to trackers and are able to disable them; however, on quite a few occasions trackers have enabled stolen vehicles to be recovered.

PC Clarke and I visited two elderly sisters yesterday to give home security advice.

The reduction in burglary is very pleasing to see and hopefully this will continue.

On a happier note, the lifting of restrictions is enabling me to build up engagement opportunities again. Everyone’s welcome to pop in and see me as shown below-:

  • Wednesday 04/08/21- Church Coffee Morning, St Mary’s Church, Kingswood Road.  1130 am to Midday
  • Thursday 05/08/21- Costa Coffee, Westmoreland Road.  3pm to 4pm
  • Friday 13/08/21- Shortlands Library, Shortlands Road.  11 am to Midday

Thanks as always for your help and support.

Kind Regards

Adam CHARLES | PCSO 7572PY | Albemarle House SNT Base
