Local crime update 31 May

Please see below the crime record for the period from 15th May to 31st May.

We had three “theft from motor vehicle” offences.  Two of these involved valuable items being stolen from vehicles and the other a catalytic convertor theft.

Remember not to leave valuable items in unattended vehicles and try to park the rear of your vehicle close to a wall if possible.

Very pleased to see that we’ve had no major issues with social distancing and other lockdown rules.  Residents or businesses that have needed words of advice have mostly taken it the right way and responded appropriately which we greatly appreciate.   On a positive note due to the current situation with more people being at home and heading out for shopping and/or exercise it’s given me some good opportunities to talk to residents.

Stay safe and thanks as always for your help & support.

Kind Regards
