Local Crime Update14/04/2022

Please find below the crime record for the period from 1^st April to 14th April 2022.  Very pleasing to see only one crime on it.  In view of this I can concentrate more on community activities.

On Wednesday 13/04/22, we attended the Community Cafe at St Mary’s Church where we had some enjoyable chats with residents.

On Thursday 14/04/22, we teamed up with our colleagues from Kelsey & Eden Park and Safer Transport to carry out vehicle and speed checks across the three wards.  We were on Wickham Way between 1000 & 1030.  Five vehicles were stopped for speeding with the highest being 42 mph.

All being well we’ll be at the Community Café again next Wednesday (20/04/22) from 11am to Midday.

We’ll be holding a resident’s surgery at Shortlands Library, Shortlands Road on Friday 22/04/22 from 3pm to 4pm.

Theft from Motor Vehicle:  

1. 05/04/22.  Mid afternoon.   Bushey Way.  Rear number plate stolen from vehicle.
