Local Crime Update31/05/2022

Dear Residents

Please find below the crime record for the period to 31st May 22.  Very pleasing to see we’ve had nothing to add to it since the 24/05/22.

In terms of crime prevention, I’d like to make some points regarding catalytic converter theft, even though we’ve only had one in the last fortnight.  If you see persons going underneath a vehicle whom you don’t recognise and/or they don’t look like genuine mechanics then please call 999.  The chances are they’re trying to steal the catalytic convertor.

On a lighter note, we recently attended the Jubilee Garden Party at the library where we had some nice chats with residents.  We’re hope to continue with our Jubilee based community interaction over the weekend by dropping into the St Mary’s Church picnic and some of the street parties during our patrols.  Next Tuesday when the schools are back we’ll be visiting Harris Primary Shortlands to speak to the reception class as part of their people who help us project.

Thanks as always for your help and support

Kind regards

Adam
