17 Jul Council Consults on Renewing Dog Control Order: Survey open until 27 July 26
Dear Residents,
As part of our ongoing campaign for Responsible Dog Ownership, the Council is keen to hear from stakeholders, dog owners, dog walkers, and from residents about the proposed renewal of the existing Public Space Protection Order (PSPO) for dog control.
The consultation for this Public Space Protection Order as outlined on the Council’s website, is now open, and we invite you to take part in the survey for the PSPO. This survey outlines some of the ways that we are seeking to prevent dog fouling and anti-social behaviour in the borough and enables us to gain valuable feedback from the public and interested parties about the proposed changes. Please complete the survey here.
The closing date for the survey is Monday 27 July 2026. After thorough evaluation and consideration of the feedback, we intend to renew the PSPO in September 2026. We look forward to receiving your feedback and welcome all responses for this important public consultation.
Kind regards,
The Environment Team
