Bromley launches annual parks satisfaction survey

Bromley is rightly famed for and proud of its many green spaces. The council has just launched its annual survey of residents’ and users’ views and opinions on its parks and parklands.
The survey is online for the first time, enabling it to be open to all residents, instead of to randomly selected addresses, as it has in the past. The survey closes on 23 July. So don’t miss the chance to let the Council have your views. To take part click on the following link:
Notes to Editors
Bromley has recently invested more into its parks as residents have indicated that more money should be spent on improving and enhancing our beautiful open spaces. Recently, Bromley launched a £1m jubilee grant which means that every ward receives £40k for projects that will enhance our parks. Shortlands ward has applied and received £40,000 to improve three of our parks in the ward – South Hill Woods, Kingswood Glen and Queensmead recreation. The projects include restoring the signage and gate at South Hill/ Kingswood Glen and regenerating the playground at Queensmead.
