17 Feb Local Crime Update 14/02/2022
Dear Residents
Hope you’re all well.
Please find below the crime record for the period 1st Feb to 14th Feb 22. Very pleasing to see the crime rate for the first two weeks of February was so low. Particularly pleasing to see no burglaries or thefts of motor vehicle.
Earlier in the month the team recently carried out speed checks on St Mary’s Avenue. Apart from two vehicles which were doing 38 mph and 41 mph all other vehicles were driving at sensible speeds.
Today (Tuesday 15/02/22) myself and PC Chris Brown were on foot patrol when we found a young boy aged around 9 or 10 in Scotts Lane. He seemed unsure where he was so we decided to take him back to Albemarle Road Police base for his own safety. While we were doing this a call came out about a little boy who had gone missing in Bromley Town Centre matching the description of the boy we had found. As a result we were able to call for a vehicle to return him to Bromley Town Centre where he was reunited with his father and older sister.
Our next surgery is at Shortlands Library, Shortlands Road on Friday 25/02/22 from 3pm to 4pm. Hope to see some of you there.
Thank you as always for your help and support.
Adam
