30 Mar Local Crime Update 15/03/2023
Dear Residents
Please find below the crime record for the period from 1st March to 15th March.
Good to see we’ve gone 10 days with no vehicle crime. Disappointing to see a burglary and what appears to be wanton criminal damage possibly from a drunk person. Very pleasing to have had some periods of several days with no crime during the first half of March. Regarding the crimes that were committed, the theft from a motor vehicle in Recreation Road is a timely reminder not to leave valuable items in vehicles overnight.
On the community engagement side, I held a residents’ surgery on Saturday 11/03/23 and attended after service tea and coffee at St Mary’s Church on Sunday 12/03/23. I’ll be at Costa Coffee, Westmoreland Road tomorrow (Saturday 18/03/23) from 3pm to 4pm for a cuppa with a Copper session. If you’re able to pop down it would be great to see you.
Thanks as always for your help and support.
