20 Apr Local Crime Update 15/04/2024
Dear Residents
Please find below the crime record for the period from 1st April to 15th April. Fortunately the overall crime record remains low. If you have a shed with expensive items in it, it’s worth investing in a good quality lock. Never leave your shed unlocked. Very pleasing to see no houses broken into over the last fortnight and the majority of days were free of vehicle crime. Remember prevention’s always better than cure so please feel free to call us if you’d like any crime prevention advice.
On the community engagement side I enjoyed a very pleasant time chatting to residents at St Mary’s Church Community Café on Wednesday. As previously advised, this morning (today, 18/04/24) we have held a Cuppa With A Copper Session at Costa Coffee, Westmoreland Road. There’ll be a further Cuppa With A Copper Session at Costa Coffee, Westmoreland Road from 4pm to 5pm on Thursday 25/04/24. The next panel meeting will be on Tuesday 30/04/24 at 7.30pm in the Friend’s Room at St Mary’s Church, Kingswood Road. The next drop in surgery’s at Shortlands Library from 10am to 11am on Saturday 04/05/24. Look forward to seeing some of you at these events.
Thanks as always for your help and support.
