Local Crime Update 15/05/2023

Dear Residents

Please find below the crime record for the period from 1st May to 15th May 2023.  We’ve only got one crime, a theft of number plates from a vehicle.  It’s very pleasing to go a fortnight with so little crime.  However, don’t get complacent.  Keep up the usual security procedures for yourself, home, vehicle & property and hopefully this can continue.

On the community engagement side, I had a very enjoyable coronation weekend visiting several street parties and the church picnic.  Really enjoyed talking both to residents I already know and meeting new people.

There are two events this Saturday 20/05/23:

  •  I’ll be at Shortlands Library, Shortlands Road from 10am to 11am for a resident’s surgery.
  •  Just off the ward at Norman Park the cadets will be running a bike marking session for under 18s from 10am to Midday.  It will be at the Hook Farm Road entrance near a building.  If you’ve got children or grandchildren of that age who have a bike that needs marking please bring them along.

Thanks as always for your help and support.

Kind regards

Adam
