04 Apr Local Crime Update 31/03/2022
Dear Residents
Please find below the crime record for the period from 16th March to 31st March . Very pleasing to see no burglaries and very little motor vehicle crime.
Last week speed checks were carried out in Wickham Way. Several drivers were stopped and warned about their speed. Disappointingly, some of these drivers had young passengers. The vehicles stopped were travelling at a variety of speeds between 35 and 47 mph.
The team have maintained regular checks in with vulnerable members of our community who have been victims of cold callers and rogue traders ensuring their safety.
A note for your diary – the next local Police surgery is on Friday 22/04/22 from 3pm to 4pm at Shortlands Library.
