SRA welcomes U-turn on Ticket-Office Closures

SRA has welcomed the decision not to close Shortlands Station Ticket-office.

Chair Mike Ricketts said, ”This is a victory for common sense. With almost 100% of those consulted objecting to ticket-office closures, the right decision has been made. And I am sure most of our members who use the Station regularly can breathe a sigh of relief. This is good news for passengers, especially vulnerable ones…and good news for the future of our railways.
