SRA welcomes plans for new zebra crossing on Hillside Road

The Shortlands Residents’ Association has welcomed the new proposal from Bromley Council to install a zebra crossing on Hillside Road, east of the junction with Mays Hill Road.

SRA Chair Mike Ricketts said, ‘This is a very positive measure which will create a safe crossing point on a very busy road right close to Harris Primary Academy and will encourage more children to walk to school by creating a safer environment. It is a significant step forward for road safety in this part of Shortlands.’
