Latest Ward Crimes 1-17 March 2026

Dear Residents,

Please find below the crime record for the period from 1 March to 17th March 26.

Very pleased to see no burglaries and a drop in theft of motor vehicle offences.

Unfortunately, we had two catalytic convertor thefts on Friday having not had any for a year or two.  Hopefully this won’t become a major issue, but it could be worth speaking to your garage or dealership re the best way to secure your catalytic convertor.

Also, pleased to see there were no robberies.  Let’s hope we see a drop in thefts from motor vehicle in the next fortnight & that we have a burglary-free March.

On the community engagement side, we’re hoping to visit the community café at St Mary’s Church on Wednesday 18/03/26).

Our next Cuppa With A Copper session is this Thursday 19th March from 10am to 11am at Costa Coffee, Westmoreland Road.

Hope to see some of you at these events.

Thanks as always for your help & support.

Kind Regards,

Adam Charles
