Dear Residents
Over the last two weeks the crime rate’s been very low. Particularly pleasing to see how low the theft from motor vehicle and burglary rates. Regarding theft of motor vehicle offences, it doesn’t appear that any particular type of vehicle’s being particularly targeted at the moment. Very positive to see that the majority of days over the last fortnight have been burglary and vehicle crime free.
On the community engagement side I had a very enjoyable visit to the youth club at St Mary’s Church on Sunday 12/05/24. Our next Cuppa With A Copper session will be on Thursday 23/05/24 from 10am to 11am. The venue will be Costa Coffee, Westmoreland Road. We also hope to attend the Community Café at St Mary’s Church on Wednesday 22/05/24. An early heads up that the next Ward Panel meeting will be on Tuesday 04/06/24 at 7.30 pm in the Friends Room at St Mary’s Church. Our next drop in surgery’s on Saturday 08/06/24 from 11am to midday at Shortlands Library, Shortlands Road. Look forward to seeing some of you at these events.
Thanks as always for your help and support.
Kind regards
Adam
