Local Crime Update 19/06/2024

Dear Residents
Please find below the crime record for the period 01/06/24 to 19/06/24.
Unfortunately we’ve seen a rise in thefts from vehicles.  Mostly tool thefts while workmen are on site.   If you have any work done it could be worth warning your workmen that this happens in the area from time to time and to lock their vehicles.  Sadly as shown on the report this isn’t always enough as some thieves drill into the doors to force them open. Generally speaking, the crime rate remains low.  Stay vigilant and keep it that way.
On the community engagement side I visited the church picnic at St Mary’s Church on Sunday 09/06/24.  I had a very enjoyable time chatting to members of the congregation.  Next Thursday (27/06/24) we’ll be holding a Cuppa With A Copper Session at Costa Coffee, Westmoreland Road from 10am to 11am.  Hope to see some of you there.
Thanks as always for your help and support.
Kind regards
Adam
